Sushma Swaraj earlier had expressed her displeasure over the attitude of Advisor to Pakistani Prime Minister Sartaz Aziz.

New Delhi, July 28: External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj was acclaimed for her generous and timely support to citizens of various countries facing health problems. Her intervention had resulted in saving lives of many patients in the neighbouring country Pakistan amid tensions between the two countries. One of the beneficiaries of her help, Hijaab Asif in Pakistan said something which may not sound pleasant to Pakistani politicians.

Hijaab Asif, on microblogging site Twitter, said she wished Sushma Swaraj was the Prime Minister of Pakistan. In her tweets, Asif tweeted, “@Sushmaswaj what do I call you? Superwoman? God? No words to describe your generosity! Love you maam Can’t stop praising you in tears!”. She further added, “Lots and lots of love and respect from here. Wish you were our Prime Minister, this country would’ve changed!”

Sushma Swaraj earlier had expressed her displeasure over the attitude of Advisor to Pakistani Prime Minister Sartaj Aziz for not replying to her letters seeking visa for the mother of Kulbhushan Jadhav, arrested and jailed in Pakistan on espionage charges.

Sushma Swaraj is India’s best-loved politician, said an opinion piece in United States’ Wall Street Journal recently. The opinion piece, authored by Tunku Varadarajan, a fellow at Stanford University’s Hoover Institution, praised Swaraj for her ‘tireless attention’ to the issues of Indians abroad.
